The Sparkle event is happening again this year.\nIt’s a low frills\, high fun women’s circle to kick off the New Year\, at the peaceful Carondelet Center in St. Paul.\nThis afternoon experience is steeped in both the sacred & the silly\, and will supply you with ample support to nourish new and bright prospects in 2020.\nBring a friend or come on your own and we’ll join together in a soulful sister society for an afternoon that will make your heart happy and boost you into your next good thing.\nThe Fun will Include:\n\n\nA Mini-workshop with Mary Hayes Grieco – This workshop is a feisty expression of intention and letting go to authentic new ways of being ourselves as we turn the page into a new time. Call Mary Hayes Grieco’s office at 612-874-6622. \nA confirmation letter from Mary:\nDear friends\, \nThank you so much for signing up for our magical afternoon with each other on Saturday January 4th — we have a great group of enthusiastic participants signing up already\, and we have room for about 50\, so feel free to mention it to your very favorite women\, as I have been\, and maybe you’ll want to top off your day with a nice dinner out together. \nDETAILS OF THE DAY \nDATE/TIME – Saturday Afternoon\, January 4\, 2-5. Doors open at 1:30 for registration and coffee & mingling. \nDIRECTIONS\, PARKING and ROOM LOCATION – There is plenty of parking in the lots surrounding The Carondelet Center\, which is located at 1890 Randolph St. in St. Paul\, 55105. Go into the entrance at the far right end of the building as you face it\, and take the elevator up to floor 1 and follow the signs to room 101. \nDRESS COMFORTABLY\, BRING A NOTEBOOK. Sure\, you might want to throw a few sparkles on your hair or where your bling-y sweatshirt. But it’s Saturday and it’s winter\, so please be comfortable. I will not judge anyone who shows up in their pajamas. I’ll be so glad you’re here! \nTHE “WORK “ PART OF THE WORKSHOP This workshop is a feisty expression of intention and letting go to authentic new ways of being ourselves as we turn the page into a new time. We’ll explore the paradox that powerful\, purposeful women learn to master: “Relax\, and Get Going!” \nThe “SPARKLE GIVEAWAY” – Bring a gift for another woman in the workshop that day. It can be new or recycled – a scarf\, a special stone\, a sacred item or a plaque with a hopeful message … you get the idea. If you’re in a store and you see a nice sparkly something that is just darling – price range $1 – $35 – go ahead and buy a treat for a worthy wonderful woman you haven’t met yet. Or pass along that sparkly gift you got for Christmas but it’s not really you. Or the special well-loved item you are ready to share with someone else. No junk\, please!! \nWe’ll put everything out on the gift table and have a random\, anonymous process by which each of us can go pick out something that appeals to us. If we have some nice things left over\, they will go into our donation to St. Anne’s Havenhome for women and children. \nNETWORK AND PROMOTE YOUR AWESOMENESS if you wish\, at this event. Entrepreneurs\, artists\, consultants\, small businesswomen\, healers\, wise women — whoever you are and whatever you’re doing- be proud and bring along your own cards and flyers\, and we’ll put them out on a table so more people can know about you. \nTHE BAD WEATHER PLAN – Well\, that could happen\, couldn’t it? I intend to be there with my buddies that day\, snow or shine\, if the weather is fine or merely bad. I figure that we’ll have a good workshop whether we have 5 people or 50 people. \nHowever\, if the weather system is overpoweringly bad\, and travel is hazardous\, it makes good sense for us to reschedule. If we have to cancel\, we will re-group for those who can make it\, on Saturday\, Feb 1 – location to be announced. You will get updates at the end of the day on Friday Jan. 3rdth with basic reminders of these details\, and an announcement by 9AM Saturday if we need to cancel this workshop. But we probably won’t\, right? See you there! \nSorry!
